Shop Chelsea supports the FREEDOM Campaign

Shop Chelsea supports the FREEDOM Campaign
To celebrate the announcement that a Two-Year programme will begin in the the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, to stamp out human trafficking in London, Shop Chelsea have teamed up with London based fashion designer and anti-trafficking label Zoe Boomer.

The Zoe Boomer 'FREEDOM' collection is now available here.. in aid of Global Anti-Trafficking organisation The A21 Campaign - the collection is also supported and modeled by a Made in Chelsea star Kimberley Garner.

Once tipped as "Ireland's next Stella McCartney" - Zoe Boomer is recognised for her love of simplicity. Her effortless chic and feminine style has caught the eye of fashion editors from across the board, featuring in various leading publications including Vogue, Tatler, Grazia and Elle to name a few - however it is Zoe's passion for the A21 programme that sets her brand apart...
Kimberley Garner - Freedom Campaign
Heartbroken, to see the MILLIONS women and children who are trafficked globally; abused, raped and sold for sex, Zoe decided to use her brand to make a difference. The FREEDOM Campaign was born.

'I guess our culture can be compassionate" says Boomer, "but then at the same time we can so easily separate ourselves from a cause when it doesn't apply to us.We can distract ourselves from the fact that this is happening right this minute, to girls like us.'

Data from the UK Trafficking Centre found that in 2011 there were 2,077 potential victims of human trafficking in the UK.

In 2012 the Metropolitan Police Trafficked Victims Unit dealt with 147 victims and undertook 91 operations. A recent investigation into a Russian and European-based organisation criminal network resulted in the rescue of 13 young, vulnerable Eastern European victims from premises in Kensington, Chelsea and Queensway.

Who's wearing them?

Supported by GRAZIA, the silk FREEDOM tops are becoming the MUST HAVE style item of 2013. The Saturday's, JLS, Miss Dynamite, Brooke Fraser, X-Factor's Kye Sonnesand Made in Chelsea star Kimberley Garner all have tops.

Zoe Boomer donates the £5 profit from her silk FREEDOM tops to The A21 Campaign - a non-profit organisation fighting for the abolishment of injustice in the 21st Century. It dreams of a tomorrow with no more trafficked victims to assist, because human trafficking has been abolished.
